Transport rollers and load wheels operate under constant load in high-speed production and material handling systems. When standard rollers wear unevenly, lose bond strength to their cores, or damage the materials they contact, the result is premature replacement and potential surface defects on fabrics, films, or finished goods.

Frankl & Thomas polyurethane compounds form high-strength bonds to steel, aluminum, stainless steel, and composite cores to withstand repeated loading and temperature cycling. Our Soft Touch transport rollers are engineered to protect delicate surfaces while maintaining abrasion resistance, making them well suited for textile handling where surface integrity is critical. We also strip and resurface worn wheels with new urethane coverings, restoring performance without replacing the core.
