Mark was born and raised in Spartanburg, SC. He attended Spartanburg High School, graduating in 1997. Mark pursued high education at Presbyterian College in Clinton, SC on a golf/academic scholarship. During his time there, he participated in several organizations including: Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity, the French Club, and Sterlings (a prospective student recruitment club). Mark was a four year letterman on the golf team in which we won two Big South conference titles in 1999 and 2000.
After graduation, Mark took a golf professional position at Brookstone Meadows Country Club in Anderson, SC. While there, he was promoted to head golf professional and remained there until 2005. At that time, Mark entered the world of sales with Inspec Tech, a label company out of Valley Head, AL. Mark was involved in both inside and outside sales for the company until 2011. In January of 2011, he started working for Frankl & Thomas, Inc.
